Freakin great apps

Since I use this apps,I CAN see my stress going down and Im much happier!!! Ewave do the same apps but you need to buy a connector at 129$. This one use your cam for ur pulse. I lovvvvve it

doesnt work with IOS 8.02

worked very well in ios 7 but does not work anymore with ios 8.02 and with ios 8.1

Coherance

I find the app is excellent at insuring that regular breathing is so important, and that blood pressure is lowered after use.

I do not recommend this product

I regret purchasing this app and wish i could get a refund. The “breath pattern” is not a consistent rhythm (e.g., breathing in and out for the same duration). There is supposed to be a “customize breath” option but there seems to be no way to input what you want the parameters for the breath to be. It’s a waste of money in its current form.

Nice and interesting concept

Not sure how accurate it is but love it.

Would be good if..

It had support for Garmin HR

HeartRate+ works as advertised…how refreshing!

Im very impressed with this breakthrough app. First of all, I am familiar with breathing exercises (Ive used the Pramayama app, and different offline techniques in the past). The amount of vitality gained from just breathing intentionally is truly remarkable, and seems to me a "secret" to health that shockingly few people in the healthcare profession talk about. So without a doubt, anyone interested in health should be doing conscious breathing exercises. However I was never aware of the connection between breath and heart rate. And this remarkable tool comes along and not only teaches me about the connection, but also monitors and maps the relationship in real time. This turns my iPhone into a medical device, for under $4. Significant value; it seems like something that us interested would pay much more to buy. I was skeptical such a system would work - but this does work, and smoothly. Seeing the connection is psychologically rewarding, a form of biofeedback that makes me more motivated to persist in the exercises. Im planning to make this a part of my breathing exercise routines, and applaud the scientists and developers behind this new iPhone-based medical device.

Underpriced!

What a great app! This is every bit as good as a device that I paid $200 for. However, not only is it significantly less expensive, its every bit as accurate (honestly I was skeptical, but verified against an oximeter), and its too convenient not to use anytime Ive got a few minutes. If you dont already know the benefits of heart coherence breathing techniques & training, I highly recommend doing some reading on the subject. Then I challenge you to find a better, more convenient means of doing it.

Awesome!

This app delivers!

Very helpful

I use this often for stress. It works as well as some of the high priced technology. Highly recommend.

Easy. Powerful. Effective.

Im telling everyone about this app. Regular pocket biofeedback devices are pricey, plus you need to carry an additional device. This app, however allow you the same convenience for an affordable price. My daughter was advised to do biofeedback to help combat her migraines. The portabliity of this app allows her to integrate it into her busy lifestyle. My one suggestion would be to add relaxing background music options. But I simply play some before I open the app. Extremely useful app!

I Am Very Impressed!

I dont get impressed easily now, but I loved this Heart Rate Monitor, and Its much more than a heart rate monitor! Let me explain. First of all, I needed an app that I could use for biofeedback to prevent my migraine headaches. The normal duration of the exercise here is 5 minutes long. Simply a Must have if you are in search of the very best in heart rate monitors along with crystal clear graphs showing both your heart rate and breathing in target and oscillation of your heart rate. Anyone health-conscious should have this app! Job well done...

Great app!

It really is a great app. I used heartmath for a while on my computer. This is a good substitute that is affordable.

Unique approach to taking your pulse

I really like this app, and I have dozens of apps to take your pulse. What is unique about this app, is it combines a breathing trainer with a coherence factor for your Pulse Rate. Most pulse monitors give you an average of your Pulse Rate and some let you see the numbers change every second or so. This app recognizes that your Pulse Rate is faster when you inhale, and slower when you exhale, and uses that awareness to present a graph showing your change in pulse rate over time. The main graph, however, displays how closely your breathing pattern and heartbeat are correlated, or in coherence. The longer you work with the app, monitoring your pulse, the more coherent your breathing and heart rate become. Presumably, this is healthy. The app also has the option to let you listen to your heart beat pulse rate so you could use biofeedback techniques to slow it down. I find the continuous beep a bit annoying though, and dont use this. What I would like is if the developer would add the ability to turn on audio instructions like "inhale", "hold", and "exhale" as cues for the breathing cycle. Alternatively, there could be a gentle ramping up sound followed by a sliding down audio cue to help keep your breathing on track while closing your eyes and not watching the monitor. Finally, an audio tone or the word "coherence" would be great when weve hit the 100% mark of heart rate/breathing coherence. All in all this is a powerful and unique approach to taking your pulse. I highly recommend it.

Very helpful.

Straight to the point. Very practical in reducing high heart rate, following stress. Love it.

Warning this is not a medical device

The app is not close to being accurate and should only be used for entertainment.

Almost a 5 strar app

Tried other coherence apps, but think this one works the best. I will rate 5 stars once the developers allow this app to work in landscape mode. The way that its the most comfortable is holding the phone sideways so you can get your finger in the right spot for heartrate. as it is i have to look at everything sideways now. Once they allow landscape 5 stars!!

Nice

Very helpful for exercise.
